Many of the northern ten tribes in the book of Judges almost seemed to think that “even though God said to do it, if it was hard, that it must not really be what God wanted.” Should God’s people just give up, because God’s way is not the easy way? (Judges 2:3-19).
We all know that we should not give up! If God said to do something then we should spend our life listening to God’s Word. It is “only God’s Word that matters.”
We are at war with Satan and just because God tells us to do something does not mean that it will be easy. God will go with you, but you must learn to fight God’s way. (Judges 3:2)
