Our Kid's Bible Club is our Tuesday night fun! Kids from age 4 through 12 join us at 6pm in our sanctuary. We begin with silly songs and some classics like Amazing Grace. How fast can you sing Amazing Grace? We have fun. Our Bible story curriculum is Superbook. You have probably guessed that Superbook refers to the Bible! It is a movie on our Big Inflatable Screen where kids go back in time and relive the Bible stories. They even talk to Jesus, Moses, David, Joshua, and others. After eating some popcorn, we enjoy a craft / coloring pages and a game! Our giant inflatable obstacle course is often a highlight for the kids. We finish off the night with this great fun and your kids will sleep well through the night!

Our Youth meet in the Fall and Spring regularly. They help and participate in a number of events as well. 

We are meeting on Mondays at 6pm in the Sanctuary. We begin our time by sharing a meal, socializing, and watching some fun comedy or Christian Music Videos. At 6:30, we begin our Bible Study.

We often play some silly games where you can "win it, in a minute!"

We focus on hiding passages of the Bible in our Heart in Youth Group. We "Tell the Story" by acting out the verse together and commit it to memory. We have lots of fun and grow closer to God!!

We have camp events that we particpate in during the Summer. The High Schoolers have camp at Mt. Hope. Junior High (7th and 8th) have a different week of camp at Mr. Hope also. Our "Big Kid's Camp" is at Diamond Arrow in Grass Valley. This is for 4th through 6th grade. Our "Kid's Camp" is also at Diamond Arrow and it starts with 2nd graders and includes 3rd and 4th grade. We like 4th graders!

We have two additional camp events that we annually participate in! Elev8 is located at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego. This is over Memorial Day and includes 7th through 12th grade. The other camp is our local VBS (Vacation Bible School). This happens on our church campus in Weaverville and the age range begins at 4 years of age and finishes with age 12.

Visiting us for the first time? No fear! Our friendly VIP host will show you where our Kids Check-In is when you arrive. We will meet your family, check your child into class, and answer any questions you may have. We can't wait to meet you!

Volunteers at Kids on a Mission are trained to create an atmosphere where families can confidently leave their children while they are in service. Every volunteer is screened with a background check and the kids hallway is monitored by security personnel, as well as security cameras. Don't worry parents - we've got this!

Your kids will experience an age appropriate lesson that will teach them about God and His love for them. The teaching is interactive and utilizes multiple approaches for different learning styles. The goal at Kids on a Mission is for kids to understand who Jesus is and how He can make a difference in their lives. They will also have a lot of fun!

Tuesday is Kid's Bible Club and our Community Awana program is Wednesday! Trinity County has a great kid's program for your kiddo! The Awana program meets at Weaverville Elementary Library at 6pm. We work in unity with other churches to have a 5 to 1 ratio with each kid. This helps us to work with your child to memorize Scripture. We want them to hide God's Word in their heart so that they will always be ready to speak of the hope that is within them. Awana is Gospel oriented and that is what we like at Weaverville Church of the Nazarene!
